Commitment towards sustainability.
Impact and sustainability sit at the core of the operation: the pillars we work to, the Global Goals we measure against, and what the farmers in our clusters say has changed.
The full account — programme design, outcome measures and results, pillar by pillar.
Five pillars, one ecosystem.
Elevarm is committed to a sustainable agriculture ecosystem, built through close collaboration with every upstream stakeholder so that the growth is mutual.
Productivity
Drive efficiencies to improve productivity of farmers and the overall agriculture ecosystem.
Literacy
Strengthen literacy and capacity building in farming practice, financial management and technology use.
Inclusivity
Open up opportunities for every demographic of gender and age, including people with disability.
Socio-economic welfare
Improve farmer well-being — household income and consumption — and reach not only our customers but the communities around them.
Environment
Focus on sustainable environmental practice in every aspect of farming operations and business process.
Ten of the Global Goals
The five pillars map onto ten UN Sustainable Development Goals. Those ten are listed in the band below, and each programme is designed and measured against them.
Where the pillars turn into projects.
Five pillars are a commitment. These are the three programmes running against them right now — what was done on the ground, and what came out of it.
Gununghejo: 200 hectares rebuilt as agroforestry
Elevarm took the site on as its operator and rebuilt it as a working agroforestry block. Water infrastructure went in first, then the tree stock, then an integrated livestock cycle that keeps the nutrients on site instead of trucking them off it.
- 30,000+ long-cycle fruit trees planted
- 979.6 t organic waste processed into compost
- 18.2 kWp of solar installed at the Gununghejo agroforestry site
Taruna Tani, the Mitra App and Tanya Rani
The scarce input upstream is not land, it is people who can run it. Taruna Tani puts unemployed young people onto real plots under supervision rather than into a classroom. The Mitra App carries the same agronomy afterwards — Tanya Rani answers questions and reads plant photographs — so the guidance does not stop when the trainer leaves.
- 175 women partner farmers now lead their own farmer groups
- 12.86% of partner farmers are under 35
- 10 training sessions a month, with every partner farmer trained
Working capital that survives a bad season
Smallholders rarely fail for lack of skill. They fail when one bad season takes the working capital with it. The cycle's inputs — seed, biologicals and labour — are deployed as structured capital, carried against parametric weather cover, with CBI background screening before anything is committed. The harvest is sold through PasarAgri, so repayment does not rest on the spot market.
- IDR 1.5–2 million net income increase per month, per farmer
- +15.9% income growth per planting cycle
- Up to +120% workforce per farmer group
Both sides of the carbon line.
Sequestration on its own is half an account. Elevarm’s own operational emissions are published beside it, from the same report, so the figure can be read rather than taken on trust.
Up to 1,400 tCO₂e
Drawn down through vermicompost applied across the land we operate during 2025. The report states this as an upper bound, and it is quoted here the same way.
45.05 tCO₂e
Elevarm’s own operational footprint for the same year, covering offices, facilities and field operations. It is published because a sequestration figure without it is a claim rather than an account.
Both figures are from the Sustainability Report 2025. They are not netted against each other: one is an upper-bound estimate, the other a measured footprint.
Programmes designed against the Global Goals.
Elevarm builds a sustainable business while creating positive social impact. Guided by the pillars, we design programmes and measure outcomes so they line up with the Sustainable Development Goals and deliver measurable impact across the ecosystem.

What our farmers have told us.
Fifteen accounts from the clusters we operate in — Agroforestry Gununghejo, Pangalengan and Ciwidey.
With Elevarm's support through training, access to inputs and market services, planting and harvesting became more structured — up to 20 harvests in 2025 on optimised cropping cycles.
Pak JoniAgroforestry GununghejoWith Elevarm's guidance and the use of Biovac, results became more stable: fewer crop losses, less input and fungicide used, lower production cost, and the plants stayed healthy.
Pak ImatCiwideyAfter a year of using CMPLUS, the soil holds water far better. The plants stay hydrated through the dry season and there is less risk of stress.
Pak ArosCiwideyElevarm's support let me switch to higher-value cherry tomatoes, gave certainty on the market price, and raised net income — enough to put profit aside for school fees.
Pak MamatPangalenganWith Elevarm's support the income steadied, because we moved off low-value, long-cycle cassava onto crops that earn every month.
Pak AdewarmanAgroforestry GununghejoWith Elevarm's support I moved from low-cost crops to higher-value potatoes. I manage the farm with more confidence now, and the income is higher.
Bu HaniPangalenganThrough the partnership with Elevarm and PasarAgri, market access improved — cherry tomato absorption went from 50% to around 80%.
Pak IwanPangalenganElevarm's guidance on outbreak management helped first-time chili farmers spot the problem early and act on it properly, which cut the risk of losing the crop to pest and disease.
Pak AdingAgroforestry GununghejoThrough Elevarm's Belajar Tani Mitra programme I picked up good agricultural practice for chili and beans — irrigation, disease management, and what quality production actually takes.
Pak EkoAgroforestry GununghejoElevarm's mentoring helped me move into farming as a young farmer, building the skills to plan the farm and run it day to day despite limited experience.
Kang SenaPangalenganThrough Elevarm's trust and support I went from helping on other people's farms to managing my own land, and I gained the confidence to lead.
Bu SumiartiAgroforestry GununghejoWith Elevarm's mentoring and financial support my farming improved, low-value crops were replaced with more profitable ones, and the farm is run far better.
Bu LilisPangalenganThe Taruna Tani programme has been a truly memorable experience. The foundation the training gave me has been invaluable, and it strengthened my confidence to step into agriculture.
AyuAgroforestry GununghejoSince we started using Elevarm's Biovac, strawberry yields have risen sharply. A tray used to weigh around 10 kg; now it comes in at 13 kg.
Pak DikyCiwideyVermicompost Trichoderma improves the soil structure — it makes clay soil friable and cuts how much livestock manure the block needs.
Kang NayaCiwideyWe are paid when the yield goes up.
Profit share or a KPI-linked fee — not a flat invoice that runs whether the harvest lands or not. If the numbers do not move, that is our problem too.
